An update :)

Hello :) I just wanted to write a little update on how I've been doing, and what God has been doing in my life. As you all know, life has been quite hectic, but I am trying my hardest to rise above the circumstances and look to God. Doing this is difficult, but SO rewarding in the end! It's great to know that your life rests in His hands, and that we don't have to do anything but give it over to Him.

It's the giving over part that creates problems for people. I know that for myself, being dependant on someone is the hardest thing for me to do. By nature, I'm a highly independant person, who doesn't trust people easily. I am skeptical of others, and am afraid of having to trust someone. Thankfully, the Lord has been slowly but steadily teaching me how to be dependant - first on Him, and also on Christian brothers and sisters.

Depending on the Lord is an area of my life that has been growing by leaps and bounds. When I look back to when I first became a Christian, I see a girl who was afraid of trusting even the God who had saved her. Now, I am learning to put my life in the hands of the One who created the universe, the One who can be trusted no matter what.
